Evaluation of our "Breakfast Club" remake
At the beginning of this task we started off planning. Each member of our group had a different task; Eyveline was in charge of the storyboard, Bodunrin was in charge of props and locations and I was in charge of making a list of the different shots we would use and for what scene.
During this task we came across some difficulties but I feel that overall we worked really well and had a good outcome.
While filming all of our different shots we were aware of lighting and had to change the location of some of our shots as we experienced some difficulties with lighting in our Prelim task.
I was in charge of the shot list and at times I found it quite difficult as I kept missing shots out and we had to think about the location of each shot at the same time. But in the end I managed to do it with the help of my group.
We were already used to used to using Premier Pro so we found putting the shots together quite easy. When adding the voice over we had some issues as it was recorded in 3 parts and we had to place it together. We managed to get the voice over and soundtrack to sound like the original. However, it was our first time using After Effects and had to learn how to create credits but we got the hang of it rather quickly. In the end we didn't have enough time to finish the credits.
While uploading our final Breakfast Club remake we realised that the soundtrack and voice over didn't upload with it so the current remake on our blog has no sound.
In the future we will try and manage our time better so get to complete all of the editing.
