The Pitch task 14-Technology skills audit

Technology Skills audit

Since I've started the AS Media, I was introduced to many new hardwares and softwares that I didn't know how to use before or didn't even know at all. I believe that they've helped me to develop my ICT skills, which contributes to how well I have been completing my tasks in my media classes.
Some of the programs/technology include:

Blogger-
This was the first software that was introduced in my media classes. At first I thought that it would be a challenge having to upload all of my coursework onto a blog, but now I enjoy being creative and using different types of media and ways to present my ideas. I find it useful as it's really easy to operate and I can easily review/edit old work in order to track my progress and see what needs to be improved.

Camatasia-
This is a software used to record onscreen activity, audio and web cam video and narrate existing PowerPoint presentations. Through Camtasia, you can record, edit, produce and share course content. It has allowed me to annotate the opening sequence of "The Stepfather" and analyse the different types of sounds used, which therefore helped me to develop my understanding of the importance of sound, which will have a positive impact on my project.

Premiere Pro-
Adobe Premiere Pro is a timeline-based video editing software application. It's part of the Adobe Creative Cloud, which includes video editing, graphic design, and web development programs. It has allowed me to create and edit videos by joining all of the shots together into one whole, it has also been very useful for removing unwanted audio and cutting scenes.

After effects-
Adobe After Effects is a digital visual effects, motion graphics, and compositing application developed by Adobe Systems and used in the post-production process of filmmaking and television production. Among other things, After Effects can be used for keying, tracking, rotoscoping, compositing and animation. It has been useful to me when creating the title credits for the remake of "The Breakfast Club".

 Camera
This is one of the most useful hardwares in AS Media, as almost everything involves the use of it. In the course, I've learned how to set it up, insert and eject the memory cards, zooming in and out, using flash, also setting up the tripod.
